Ernest Race rocking chair

Visitors to our showroom in North Norfolk will have seen a number of pieces of furniture upholstered with our fabrics.

And we're delighted that our friends at Retrouvius have collaborated with Race Furniture in the re-issue of Ernest Race's rocking chair - designed in 1948.

We're great fans of the work of Ernest Race - you can spy our treasured 'Wing' sofa in a couple of the articles we've been featured in.

If you've seen any footage of the 1951 Festival of Britain you may well have seen his 'Antelope' chair - designed for the festival.

The chair features a removal upholstered seat and cushion - allowing the chair to be left outside.

The price of £550.00 includes the upholstered seat and cushion in any of our fabrics. The price is based on collection from either our North Norfolk showroom or north west London. Delivery can be arranged at additional cost.
